Dr. Manoj Kumar Agarwala

Dr. Manoj Kumar Agarwala is the 1997 alumni of the prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI) in Chandigarh. He had received extensive training in Interventional Cardiology. He was a senior resident – Cardiology at PGI for 3 years before joining Apollo Hyderabad as Interventional Cardiologist. He has published in various international reputed journals, have teaching exposure in internal medicine and cardiology at PGI and has interest with the current advancements in the world of cardiology. His recent achievements include complex angioplasties such as Left Main, TVDs, Bifurcations, and Primaries. He has especially interested in carotid and peripheral vascular interventions. He completed MMBS from GMC, Assam(1984 – 1989), He did MD – Internal Medicine( 1992 – 1994) and DM (Post-Doctoral) – Cardiology(1995 – 1997) from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI)

Working Experience:

Dr. Manoj Kumar Agarwala has been a Senior Consultant Cardiologist and Director of Intervention Cardiology at Apollo Hospitals , Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad since September 1998 to present. He is a visiting faculty for the university hospitals in Tanzania, Mozambique and Zambia. He has been a guest faculty in various national and international conferences. His work experience in interventional cardiology includes over 6000 coronary angioplasties. His research activities have lead to more than 40 publications and paper presentations at the national as well as international level. He become a Director of Nemcare Hospitals Pvt. Ltd in 2014.
